The Valkyrie has scores to settle and is dying for a fight. Suffering from some motion sickness has meant that we've had to play CCP's space shooter in short sessions, because although going forwards in a straight line is mostly okay, the moment you have to start twisting and turning around, things would get a little choppy. What makes this game really special is the fact that it is exclusively in VR, which, in and of itself, is a rarity nowadays, as VR games in general, especially for the PSVR, are starting to decline in releases due to the PS5 now being available. If you've played games like Wing Commander, Ace Combat and more recently, Star Wars Squadrons and enjoyed them, you'll feel right at home with EVE Valkyrie. With EVE Valkyrie, the FPS action focuses on the player becoming a skilled pilot within a squadron of other pilots.

How does this game stack up to Valkyrie in terms of visuals, controls and gameplay I have both games and Squadrons is outstanding in PSVR via a PS4 Pro. Ground combat all around, like Halo, Doom, Call Of Duty or Battlefield (to name the popular few). The Dutch review site also praised the visuals and visceral feel of flying in VR, particularly in multiplayer mode and in the tutorials. I own Valkyrie and while it's not the greatest game ever, I do enjoy it a lot (possibly because I am also an Eve Online player). They're usually a solitary soldier, the last of their kind or the only one left to fight. Now almost seven months on, is the PlayStation VR version of this title still hold up Yes, yes it does. Mostly, FPS games focus on the player being a highly skilled and dangerous soldier, fighting in a battlefield where they are the only hope of whatever side they are fighting on.
